Our values

Who Let The Dads Out? groups provide an effective way to engage with dads, father figures and their children.

Who Let The Dads Out? groups are set up by and accountable to a Christian church or a Christian organisation.

Who Let The Dads Out? is part of Care for the Family which believes, with the historic churches, in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Who Let The Dads Out? groups are found throughout the UK and overseas.

The values that underpin Who Let The Dads Out? groups are that they:

  • are founded on the Christian principle of wanting to demonstrate God’s love to our community;
  • are targeted at dads, father figures and their children;
  • are open to all dads, father figures and their children within our community regardless of whether or not they are churchgoers;
  • provide a safe space for dads, father figures and their children to enjoy time together;
  • encourage dads, father figures and their children to take part in activities (play, craft, music, story) together;
  • provide hospitality and space for dads and father figures to talk about parenting and faith together;
  • are accountable to Christian churches and organisations that believe Jesus is both Lord and Saviour.

Please note: As a Who Let The Dads Out? group, you must adhere to health & safety regulations, as well as safeguarding legislation, and have an established Health & Safety Policy and Safeguarding Policy in place which you can provide on request. BRF cannot be held responsible for any matters relating to health & safety or safeguarding in respect of any Who Let The Dads Out? group. As a first point of contact, we recommend you speak to your church leadership to clarify safeguarding policies and procedures in your church.
