The Who Let The Dads Out? logo is copyright Care for the Family and both the name and logo are unregistered trade marks of Care for the Family.

Who Let The Dads Out? groups provide an effective way to engage with dads, father figures and their young children.

Who Let The Dads Out? groups are set up by and accountable to a Christian church or a Christian organisation that believes that Jesus is both Lord and Saviour.

Who Let The Dads Out? is part of Care for the Family which believes, with the historic churches, in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Who Let The Dads Out? values are about engaging with all dads, father figures and their children within our community, providing a safe space for them to enjoy time together and providing hospitality and the opportunity to talk about parenting and faith together.

To use the Who Let The Dads Out? name and logo your group must be set up by and accountable to a Christian church or a Christian organisation and subscribe to our values.

If your group meets these conditions we are very happy for you to use our Who Let The Dads Out? name and logo, so long as this is within certain parameters. We understand that ideas need to be contextualised for your local church/situation and this may therefore involve adapting certain elements of Who Let The Dads Out? However we want to ensure that the core values of Who Let The Dads Out? are maintained by churches or organisations using the name and/or logo. We would therefore ask that before you call something ‘Who Let The Dads Out? ', you ensure that you're clear what Who Let The Dads Out? is and that using the name is appropriate in your context.

If the activity you are running doesn't meet these conditions you are welcome to use the ideas and resources you find on this website, but you may not use our Who Let The Dads Out? name and logo.

Please note that we do reserve the absolute right to withdraw use of the Who Let The Dads Out? name and logo if at any time we become aware of anything within your group that conflicts with our Who Let The Dads Out? values, or that we believe might damage the reputation of Who Let The Dads Out? or BRF. In particular we are passionate about protecting children and young people and as a Who Let The Dads Out? group you must adhere to health and safety and safeguarding laws and guidelines and have an established health and safety and safeguarding policy in place which you can provide on request. BRF cannot be held responsible for any matters relating to health and safety or safeguarding in respect of any Who Let The Dads Out? group.

Using the Who Let The Dads Out? logo

Can I produce my own publicity materials using the Who Let The Dads Out? logo?

If you wish to produce a poster/leaflet/banner for your own church's use, using the Who Let The Dads Out? logo, this is fine with us. You can design your own poster, leaflet or banner and get this printed by your local printer, so long as you follow our requirements about how the Who Let The Dads Out? logo appears. We stipulate that you must not change the logo in any way and that you send us a copy of how you’re using it. (It’s always nice to see what good ideas different churches come up with anyway!) This also applies to the logos to advertise your Daddy Cool! parenting programme and Soul man? sessions.

Can I sell my own Who Let The Dads Out? publicity materials to other churches?

If you or your church decide that you'd like to sell the Who Let The Dads Out? poster/leaflet/banner you have produced to other churches then you cannot do so without our consent and a licensing agreement with BRF. You must contact us at tony.sharp@cff.org.uk first.

What happens if a printer wants to produce and sell Who Let The Dads Out? publicity items?

If a printer is asked to produce a poster/leaflet/banner for an individual/church then this is fine. However, if a printer wants to start selling more of these posters/leaflets/banners to other churches they cannot do so without our consent and a licensing agreement with Care for the Family. They must contact us at tony.sharp@cff.org.uk first.

What about aprons, clothing items and mugs?

The same principles apply as outlined above. If you want to design your own item containing the Who Let The Dads Out? logo then, subject to our agreement, you may produce this yourself - for you and your church's use only. We will need to approve the item before you arrange for it to be printed/produced. If you wish to be able to sell the item to other churches you cannot do so without our consent and a licensing agreement with BRF. You must contact us at tony.sharp@cff.org.uk first.

The above points provide a list of uses of our name and logo that are acceptable. If what you want to do is not on the list then please contact us for approval. If what you want to do is not on the list and you have not gained our approval then it is likely that your proposed use will infringe our rights. We are committed to protecting our Who Let The Dads Out? name and logo and will take action to protect our rights should this be necessary.
